Class Two – through page 40 in your textbook
- Create
a new presentation with the title slide that reads: Business Meeting, by
“your name”. Use the slides on
page 24.
- You
don’t have to “Click Here” to enter text or to move to a new text box.
Ctrl-Enter is the Windows standard
for inserting a new page. In PowerPoint it will move you from one textbox to
another, and to a new slide, in the default format.
You will watch the instructor
create a slide presentation without touching the mouse.

- To
change the formatting of existing text, you must first select the text.

- Change
the font face and font size of your title slide. Use Ctrl-B to make your
text bold.
- Apply
a different design to the slide show. Run your show. (F5)
- Apply
different alignment to the text.
- Left
align = Ctrl-L
- Right
align = Ctrl-R
- Center
= Ctrl-E
- Insert
clipart into your slide:
- Insert
> Picture > Clipart, choose the picture. Size and place the
picture.
- Insert
> Picture > From file. You must locate the image file.
- From
the Internet: If you use Microsoft Explorer, just select the image, Copy
with Ctrl-C, then go to PowerPoint and paste it in. (Edit > Paste, or
Ctrl-V.)
- Use
the Undo key – Ctrl-Z, and the Redo key, Ctrl-Y.
- Use
Slide Sorter View to rearrange, Copy, Paste, and Delete slides.
